Training
SEC works to understand the health and safety needs of the individual client and creates a training program that is tailored to those specific needs. Whether it is for lockout/tagout, blood borne pathogens, hazardous communication, or any other training requirements, SEC will make sure that the training is practical and effective.
OSHA 10 and 30 hour
How do you know if your employees are able to recognize the hazards around them? The OSHA 10 hour course is designed to inform employees of their rights under OSHA and to help them understand the hazards associated with their job so they will be better prepared to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job related hazards. The OSHA 30 hour course is designed for employees that have some safety responsibility. Training your employees is an investment in their lives and in your company.
Industrial Hygiene Sampling
Science continues to push forward in understanding how our bodies are effected by the environments we are exposed to every day. By understanding, the hazards around us, we can better protect against them and enjoy longer healthier lives than we could have otherwise. Understanding the hazards or the extent of the hazards can be difficult. Specific testing and sampling may need to be implemented to quantify the specific hazards of concern so that a plan can be developed to protect the health of the employees. Sometimes, the testing and sampling can show that the hazard does not exist, and that is important and powerful information as well.
OSHA Style Audits
Regulations are updated and personnel change. These are facts that face all industries. These audits are designed to be tough and find the opportunities for improvement. Audits are performed and supported by professionals with decades of direct industrial experience.
Program Development
It is hard to know where you are going if you do not have a map. Written health and safety programs provide that map by identifying the specific goals and how they will be achieved. Several programs such as emergency action plans, control of hazardous energy (lockout/tagout), bloodborne pathogens, and hazardous communications have very specific requirements. SEC will work to understand the specific needs and goals of the client to create a workable, effective plan that can be implemented and sustained with minor updates for many years.
